The Huating Yuefu Sales Center uses light, curves, and sophisticated grey as its defining language to outline a dynamic and pure spatial art. Under the leadership of our principal, Simon Chong, the design team approached this project with a commitment to integrating architecture, landscaping, and interior design
The result is a display space in Zhongkai District, Huizhou, that successfully embodies the urban context while delivering an artistic experience designed to touch the soul.

The design's dominant element is the simple curve. By utilizing the three-dimensional composition of tangent circles, we were able to break the conventional progressive layers of the space. This approach allows the interfaces to showcase personality and interest, balancing function and visual intrigue. Furthermore, the use of curves consciously echoes the traditional layout of Lingnan gardens, which gives the space a dynamic rhythm and injects an urban artistic flair into the sales center environment.

Light and shadow are fundamental to the experience of the Huating Yuefu Sales Center. Natural light intertwines with artificial illumination, and when refracted by the curved surfaces and metal materials, they produce a light yet dynamic effect. As the day progresses, the changing light creates a constantly shifting spatial hierarchy, crafting a dreamlike atmosphere for visitors.

The material palette is chosen for its exquisite effect: marble, textured paint, wood veneer, and metal collide to form a delicate yet unified texture. Here, sophisticated grey is elevated beyond being a synonym for coldness, bringing subtle surprises through variations in texture and sheen. Accents like copper-yellow perforated panels, gray-blue carpets, and stainless steel coffee tables complete a modern and elegant combination, showcasing diverse aesthetic possibilities.
Cultural elements also serve as a key design highlight. The team deliberately incorporated the dynamism inherent in graffiti culture into the spatial language, transforming the sales center into a platform for exchanging art and life. This fusion enables the space to convey an imagination of a beautiful life that extends beyond its primary functional purpose. When people are immersed in the center, they experience an artistic journey that touches their souls. This outcome - to gradually reveal and intensify the possibilities of space through continuous experimentation and creation - is precisely the core goal of our work.
