In the vibrant 'blue space' of Chengdu, our design for the Tongwei Global Innovation Base · Changwan Sales Center transcends mere commerce. Here, design becomes the eloquent language of emotion, where art and commercial intent intertwine to create a new, reflective realm of life
Chengdu's urban temperament is characterized by its gentle and inclusive nature, and the design of the Tongwei Global Innovation Base Changwan Sales Center is a deliberate, aesthetic response to this unique quality. Under the leadership of our director, Simon Chong, the design team drew inspiration from the colour blue, transforming the commercial space into a powerful narrative about memory, emotion, and the infinite possibilities of the future.
The entire spatial structure employs light and shadow as its primary brushstrokes, crafting distinct, yet softly layered, experiences. In this context, blue is elevated beyond a visual theme; it is a spiritual symbol - carrying the innocence of childhood and embodying deep reflections on personal growth. As Simon shares, "Good design can make people stop and feel a sense of peace and hope."
Our design language intentionally moves between the poles of rationality and poetry. The project features a striking sculptural facade and geometrically ordered lines, which, when combined with the enveloping blue atmosphere, generate a unique and captivating tension. Visitors are not merely browsing the space; they are guided into an emotional journey, progressing layer by layer from immediate visual delight to profound emotional resonance.
Envisioned as a "City for a Lifetime," this project showcases the company's grand cultural aspirations through its meticulous design language, reflecting a visionary ten-year plan. The team infused humanistic care into every detail, successfully transforming the commercial space into an integral piece of urban art. Blue becomes the ultimate spiritual symbol of Chengdu's new way of life, signifying tranquility, hope, and the boundless possibilities of the future.
