Every city has its own story, and space is its most direct narrator. Our design director, Simon Chong, skillfully merges the memories of Shijiazhuang’s ancient streets with contemporary design language, creating a sales space that embodies both cultural depth and the beauty of everyday life

Upon entering the Shijiazhuang Zhonghai Xi’an Sales Center, visitors are greeted not merely by architectural design but by a spatial dialogue that bridges history and the present. Our principal, Simon Chong, employs a “deconstruction and reconstruction” technique to distill the essence of the ancient city wall, the texture of traditional tiles, and the structure of brackets, reinterpreting these elements with modern materials. This transformation turns historical impressions into daily experiences. The acrylic reconstructed tile screen embodies abstract beauty while evoking intimate memories of the old city.

The overall space is designed around the concept of “walking through the street into the country,” reminiscent of a leisurely stroll through ancient alleys. The chandelier flows in an “S-shaped” curve, while art installations are thoughtfully scattered, creating a dynamic rhythm and layering within the living scene. The negotiation area features a bracket ceiling that extends light and structure, seamlessly connecting with the outdoor landscape and allowing light and nature to permeate the entire space.

Every design detail has been meticulously considered, emphasizing the emotional resonance of the space. From sculptural lighting to gentle light levels, the environment consistently evokes warm imaginings of life. The end view, reminiscent of a stove, symbolizes the essence of home, serving as a connection point between homebuyers and their spatial memories. Simon reflects: “A space that truly touches people’s hearts transcends form or decoration; it fosters familiarity, comfort, and anticipation for life. I aspire for the design to carry these emotions, inviting people to immerse themselves naturally.”

The design project for this sales center is an exploration of culture and aesthetics. Historical elements are re-presented in a contemporary manner, quietly interwoven with light and materials, facilitating a deeper connection between people and the city.
