In the design of this Beijing Yiliangma Luxury Residence, Chief Designer Simon Chong employed minimalist lines and artistic elements to interpret the poetic life philosophy of young elites, creating a space where art and emotion seamlessly blend. This project demonstrates our commitment to crafting homes that are not just visually stunning but also deeply resonant with the lifestyles and aspirations of our clients.

Located on Beijing's East Fourth Ring Road, adjacent to the vibrant 798 Art District, the Beijing Yiliangma residence draws inspiration from its unique artistic surroundings. This 684-square-meter mansion was designed for a young couple born in the 1990s who desired a minimalist, soothing, and warm lifestyle - reflecting the modern attitude of a new generation of elites. Simon Chong’s design concept of "natural aesthetics," weaves art, function, and emotion into the space to create an ideal home embodying both internal and external beauty.

The core of the design revolves around "the interweaving of lines and materials." The overall space features a sophisticated palette of earth tones and neutral colors, complemented by natural materials. This combination creates a soft, smooth, and aesthetically poetic atmosphere. Simon Chong explains, “Lines are the beginning of visual language. They not only bring rational spatial order but also contain the warmth and softness of the space.” For example, the custom furniture in the living room features simple linear shapes that are delicate and layered. The sculpture "Son Exercising," based on the theme of fatherly love, infuses the space with warm emotions and blends perfectly with the home's atmosphere.

In addition to visual language, light is a crucial design element. Natural light filters through soft white gauze curtains, gently illuminating every corner. This not only expands the sense of space but also creates a comfortable living experience.

In the master bedroom, the clever use of houndstooth patterns and floral and bird elements integrates French elegance into the warm space. Simon Chong believes, “The essence of design is to create a sense of emotional belonging for residents and bring peace and inspiration to life.
