A Retreat in the Heart of the Lake, Simplicity Revealed in the Orient

We often ask ourselves: Can space be more than just architecture, but a feeling of life? The design of the Lakeside Peninsula is our profound response to this question

In Nanchang, a city where history and culture intertwine, we were fortunate to participate in the design of the China Overseas Lakeside Peninsula project. This was an exploration of how "simplicity" and "Oriental aesthetics" can coexist, and also a profound attempt by our team to redefine modern living.

Our design team aimed to create spaces that were not merely for display, but for allowing people to experience the rhythm and warmth of life. From the translucent stone and gold ornaments in the reception lobby, to the geometric light and shadow and warm tones in the model area, and the natural light and greenery in the VIP rooms, we strived to ensure that every detail responded to the feelings of "people," rather than simply being a visual accumulation.

Our principal, Simon Chong, emphasizes: "I have always believed that the value of design lies not in its formal extravagance, but in its ability to bring people peace and a connection with the space. This collaboration is a practical application of our understanding of 'humanistic housing,' and a cherished experience."
