Experience design that conveys the beauty of the Orient
This elegant mansion of more than 7,000 square feet is located in Yiwu, China, exemplifying a space filled with oriental charm and embedding the local cultural atmosphere. Reveals our manager Simon Chong, “The team’s first task was to express the purity and beauty of the courtyard and showcase the refined personality of its potential inhabitants.”
Throughout this project, Simon and his design team have used a clear design language paired with relatable artwork, to convey the beauty of the Orient and bring contemporary textures to the forefront. The elevated tones of grey establish an elegant temperament for the residence and harmoniously combine with the scenery of the courtyard and attic outside the window. Appropriate white space becomes a stage for artworks to shine, highlighting splendid hues that integrate the ancient with modern eras.
From the dining room, stairway, tea room, and even the bedroom, each transition also carries Simon's insistence on restrained luxury. Through the well curated pairing of furniture, lighting and decorative accessories, he presents a stunning scene that is both playful, elegant and refined. This living environment filled with warmth meets the needs of consumers of all ages.
