"The charm of life lies not only in blooming, but also in withering and passing"
Chinese artist Wang Xinyu is adept at conveying the philosophy that "the charm of life lies not only in blooming, but also in withering and passing" through his works. He emphasises that no matter whether it is human, plant or animal, no life should ever be questioned. After all, in the face of time, all living beings are created equal. Wang has expressed that the reason he likes art is because art can be created from scratch and it is something that can be completely under one’s control.
Our chief designer, Simon Chong, appreciates the artist's respect and reflection on life. Wang Xinyu's sculpture "One Flower, One World, One Wood, One Floating Life" can be seen in his Xi'an Eco-City Marketing Center project in China, which transforms inner feelings into a powerful space.
